ABOUT
My Story
Drawing and painting have been with me since a very young age. Born in Casablanca in 1955, I found my roots under the brilliant light of the French Riviera, in Antibes. A graduate and award-winner from the prestigious École des Arts Décoratifs de Nice (Villa Arson) in 1977, I initially dedicated my career to teaching plastic arts and architecture. But, deep down, my true language has always been portraiture.
Capturing the soul of the world's great artists and thinkers has been my life's work.
Technique
in service of emotion
Facing my easel, each artwork is a quest for truth. Whether I use the vibrant softness of pastel, the surgical precision of graphite, or the warmth of colored pencils, I sculpt light and shadows to bring gazes to life. Each art print you discover here is the fruit of dozens of hours of meticulous work, the demand for a stroke shaped by decades of practice, and sincere admiration.
I invite you to dive into this timeless journey, eye to eye with one of the greatest myths of the 20th century.

An artistic passion:
The King
_
If I've chosen to dedicate a collection exclusively to Elvis Presley, it's not just out of musical passion. It's because, for a portrait artist, he embodies the ultimate subject.
Like a rough diamond from his beginnings at Sun Records Studio to the majesty of his Las Vegas years, his face tells the story of an era, a zest for life, a vulnerability. My goal isn't to reproduce a simple photograph, but to bring forth that magnetic presence that shone through the lens.
Keeping the legend alive The Festival Years
-
My passion for Elvis extended far beyond the confines of my easel. In the 90s, I felt a deep-seated need to bring enthusiasts together and celebrate his memory on a grand scale.
Thus, I organized three major European festivals at the Centre International de Valbonne (Sophia Antipolis): Elvis Rencontres Européennes in 1995, Elvis - Sun and Rock'n'Roll in 1996, and Elvis Memories in 1997.
These events allowed me to collaborate with legendary figures. I had the immense honor of working with those who were close to the King, such as D.J. Fontana (his historical drummer) and Ed Bonja (his official photographer), as well as the illustrious Charlie McCoy.
We also shared the stage with amazing artists such as Terry Mike Jeffrey, Big Al Downing, Ahmed Mouici, Ricky Norton, Kevin Mac Lan, Phil Edwards, Gérald Beretti, and Betty & the Bops.
Today, I cherish precious photographic archives and a rich press review from these unforgettable encounters. It is all this energy, authenticity, and closeness to Elvis's world that I now translate into each of my portraits.
