Elvis's very first appearance in Honolulu in 1957 is a moment of pure history that I had to immortalize. I chose pastel for this portrait to make the light vibrate on his famous 'gold lamé' jacket. This technique allows me to bring a unique softness and luminosity, capturing the raw energy and dazzling glory of the King under the Hawaiian spotlights. This is my tribute to the stage icon.
