This behind-the-scenes portrait captures Elvis's tension and intensity just before his legendary televised 'Comeback Special,' announcing his grand return to the stage. I used pencil to add depth and bring out the serious magnetism of his face. I wanted to capture the soul of rock'n'roll in full renaissance on paper.
